Embracing Uncertainty

My uncle found this hilarious early 90’s photo of me recently. I look so overwhelmed! What on earth could have weighed so heavily on a 4-year old?

So of course I had to recreate this photo 😆

Just to be clear, I’m not feeling overwhelmed these days. I actually feel FREER than ever.

I’ve unburdened myself from some things recently that were not serving me…

And magically, a mysterious psychosomatic symptom I’ve been dealing with for years disappeared pretty much overnight 🤯

I’m understanding a whole new level of the power of NO and listening to my body.

And I’m DONE being nice.

Being nice for the sake of maintaining an image of being likable, easygoing, pleasant is OVERRATED Y’ALL.

So in other words, I feel like I’m embarking on a new chapter of my life.

Thank you for being here to witness it.

In my coaching business, I’ve been inspired to write and teach about uncertainty recently.

And honestly, what’s a better time than 2024 to write about this? With everything going on in the world and especially the U.S., I think this resonates.

Here’s my take.

While there’s very little that you can individually do to restore normalcy, consistency, and common decency in the world, you still have the power to navigate and master uncertainty in your personal life moving forward.

I’m fervent about this.

Want to create better relationships?

Want to leave your soul-sucking career and start a business?

Want to get healthy and make better choices?

All of this matters—even if the rest of the world is on fire.

Because YOU MATTER.

Don’t let bigger-than-life outside forces be an excuse as to why you can’t prioritize your needs, your desires, and your concerns.

Ya hear me?

The Wisdom to Leave: How the Wanderer Archetype Can Help You Say BYEEEE to a Life You’ve Outgrown

Ready to say BYE to a situation that’s unhealthy or limiting you?

I’m partnering with CreativeMornings to offer an online workshop (“FieldTrip”) to talk about embracing the unknown and uncertainty. This is about leaving “captivity” (a boring AF job, a bad relationship, a circumstance you’ve outgrown, etc.) with the help of your inner Wanderer Archetype.

Found deep in our psyches, the Wanderer has an instinctual wisdom on how to say “NO” to stale, limiting, or unhealthy situations. If your career, relationships, or creative outlets feel incongruent with what you want, your inner Wanderer might be your best ally to shake-up your life and rediscover what’s possible.
